Time for Mercy

How about a card? I know it's been awhile since I posted one! I just love the Alice inspired digi's from The Greeting Farm and my fave new punch is this Martha Stewart Wrought Iron Gate punch.

Need more Mojo

It's time for mojo - this time I have a pet sympathy card to share with you. My dear friend, Diana, had to put down two of her beloved poodles last weekend, so I've made this card to give to her. My heart goes out to her in this time of loss. I know what it's like to loose one dog, I can't imagine loosing two at one time! They are family.

The movie 9 was excellent. I'm usually not into the whole sci-fi thing, but this was really good. We've had a very busy week so I'll post an update later. Zero's surgery went well on Thursday.

Little One's Mojo?

It's time for more Mojo, Mojo Monday to be exact. This time we have a baby card. I do not do a lot of baby cards, but a co-worker friend is having a baby and the shower is on Tuesday for her. That is, if she doesn't have the little bundle of joy over the weekend - we are cutting it close! Anyway, this one is for Sarah's little one. I really liked Julie's card and you can see the influence in this one. Yes, I ordered myself some Verve stamps this weekend. How could I not? The designs were so wonderful. I also got some older designs I've been wanting. I can't wait to start using them when they arrive.

Enjoying the moment

I absolutely love this stamp. It is so fun to color with my copics. It makes me long for a vacation in a tropical location. I've got some time before that will happen! No reason to not dream about it in the meantime.

Mojo Time!

mojomonday_972

After an extremely busy week and weekend, I am posting Mojomonday at the very last minute yet again. As my boss's mother passed away, I needed a sympathy card. I wanted something not at all dismal, as she passed away after a long illness. Here we have the inside of the card.

Finally

DiB-Day_Card
I believe I have finally shaken whatever this bug is that had me feeling bad. Yeah! No more coughing, sneezing, wheezing... at least for now! I had a wonderful weekend and was able to work in my studio. I am working on some submissions, so sorry - I cannot post them for you! But, here is a peek at a b-day card for a friend. I think it's very pretty and cheery - at least that's the look I'm going for! I did some paper piercing on this one. That was a lot of fun. I've been doing some sewing on paper too on my other projects. As a quilter, that's a lot of fun for me too. :) I guess it's the perfect mix of the two hobbies for me! LOL

The new MojoMonday is out. I've got to get busy on that and finish my other projects. Oh boy - don't forget work! Yikes... gotta pay for this somehow. Gotta go now.

Yet Another MojoMonday

MojoMonday_week93

This time I got an early start on MojoMonday, at least for me. I'm usually making my card on Sunday! I love the new Stampin' Up In Colors, but I am going to miss the old colors, especially Kiwi Kiss! I felt like being different this time. I don't know if it's the 4th of July thing, or what, but I'm into stars right now. Love the stars.

Happy Blogoversary!

Wow - I cannot believe that I've been blogging for five years now. Although my blog originally started out as a more personal adventure, I've had so much fun these past few years sharing my stories, photos and creations with you all and more importantly, experiencing other people's blogs along the way. Of course, using Blogger makes it all so easy to do this, which is why I started this in the first place. I will be getting a blog makeover within the next few days (hopefully), so do come back soon for that. And do leave your comment on this posting for your chance to win some blogcandy - see June 2, 2009 posting for specifics. I will pick a contest winner after 6/19 to give everyone a chance to post a comment as we are all so busy nowadays!

Here in my photo are some of the goodies I got while at the Bead & Button Show this past weekend. Isn't the turquoise just beautiful? Two of my resin filled bezels are shown as well. I can see that I'll be making some jewelry again in the near future!
