And the winner is...

Congratulations goes out to Susan Sager Brown who's lucky number 3 came up as the winner of my Blogoversary giveaway posting from Monday, June 8th. I'm sure you'll find a use for the goodie bag of items coming your way!
red_peonies_2009I know this is a BWO site, but I do apologize for being absent. Between this illness that has me down (still struggling with a nasty cough that will not go away even though the doctor has me on sufficient meds) and my angel of a little puppy, I am ever so busy. Work is busy too as always. My little puppy Zero is not well today. I think he ate something he shouldn't have - he eats EVERYTHING he can find! Good grief! My Guinness was like that and I hate to say, but I really hoped my next dog wouldn't do that too. My Jac only goes after food on the floor. I am watching Zero closely today as I just can't deal with anything happening to another one of my dear babies! I think I need pet insurance for him. It definitely would have paid off on my Guinness for me. He was always at the vet for some ailment or injury.

Thanks for listening... Hope you have a great day! Here's a photo of the beautiful red peonies blooming in front of our house. I'm off to work.

Enjoy,

Happy Blogoversary!

Wow - I cannot believe that I've been blogging for five years now. Although my blog originally started out as a more personal adventure, I've had so much fun these past few years sharing my stories, photos and creations with you all and more importantly, experiencing other people's blogs along the way. Of course, using Blogger makes it all so easy to do this, which is why I started this in the first place. I will be getting a blog makeover within the next few days (hopefully), so do come back soon for that. And do leave your comment on this posting for your chance to win some blogcandy - see June 2, 2009 posting for specifics. I will pick a contest winner after 6/19 to give everyone a chance to post a comment as we are all so busy nowadays!

So bad!

I am such a bad blogger! Here my blogoversary is coming up in just six days, and no postings from me? Yikes! Well, Saturday was a Stampin' Up workshop to attend - how fun is that? On Sunday yard work was my excuse - I still have the aching muscles to proof it! Garlic mustard has taken over the back corner garden area and the only way to rid the area of it is to pull it by hand. I have been stamping, just haven't had time to take pictures. :( Bad, bad blogger!

Anyway, onto the blogoversary. I've done some cabinet cleaning, some recycling as it were. However, you will not be disappointed if you win! I am giving away the following items: a Castaway Stamp Pad (unused), a Dove Blender Starter Set, a package of Angelina "Hot Fix"fibers in Peacock color, a set of Sandylion black cat dimensional stickers, a set of Stampendous! Perfectly Clear Christmas stamps, a set of Holiday Clear Stamps from Walmart, some moving eyes (could be cute on an ATC or card?), vintage rick rack trim in light pink, dark pink and burgundy, a VersaMarker (unused), a Spellbinders embossing die "Circles & Abstracts" (these dies do not cut, just texturize), a set of Spellbinders "S4 Abstract dies" (now retired, the predecessor to the nestabilities) and a brand new package Scotch Foam Mounting Tape. It is a mixed bag, I know - but I know you can find a use for these items! Anyway, on my blogoversary, I will use a Random Number Generator to pick one lucky winner from the commenters on my current posting. The next day I will announce the winner. Good luck!

Enjoy,
-Roberta
