the day lilies are in fully bloom right now. these are lemon yellow day lilies that i have around my patio. very cheery indeed.late yesterday i was finally able to get through to midwest airlines. not on the phone, but via their website. they must have had to scramble to adjust their website to allow people to request a refund. anyway, now i just have to wait for a refund on my airfare from them - hopefully it will come before the airtran airfare comes due on my credit card. yikes.
today pam at work brought in three little goldfish for my pond. she says "they breed like rabbits this time of year" so she had plenty to spare. she also said to let her know if i need/want more. i have a very small pond, as you can see in yesterday's post, so it's best not to overcrowd them. they grow fast.
it is a very cool july morning. in the 50's. unusual for july. i'll take it - i don't like really hot and humid weather. why i'm going to florida is september is mind boggling when you think about it considering that fact about me! whenever i go there in december it is amazingly cold (for florida, that is) - 40's & 50's. maybe they will be cooler than normal? i will be happy as long as they aren't having a hurricane while i'm there.
jac is waiting patiently for me - watching me as he lays on the floor. he is waiting for me to brush his teeth before he goes back to bed. silly dog. i was just working on a birthday card for my friend diana. her birthday is friday. the card just needs the inside finished. i always struggle with the inside of cards... i'll get it finished today so i can mail out it later.
