Back again!

We're back from Walt Disney World & our honeymoon. We had a wonderful time. The best ever!

I spent all of today updating all the Apple gadgets because of iCloud. It took most of the day to download & then install Lion. Lion is required for iCloud as is IO 5. Then I had to update all the apps & then download & install IO 5 on the iPods, iPads & iPhones what a project! Then I can migrate to iCloud. I've been a MobileMe user since before it was MobileMe so I've got to deal with that. So far, so good but it is time consuming to do the upgrades.

Here's a pic from the WDW Swan - facing the WDW Dolphin. We love staying there - they even upgraded us to a mini suite as we where on our honeymoon.

I got to ride all my favorite rides: R'n'R Roller coaster, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion, & Test Track.

The Food & Wine Festival was going on - its always a fun time.

Yahoo!

Congrats to me... I've been selected by Carly at the Disney Wedding Blog as one of the mentors.

I'm thinking there should be a spoiler alert on this posting as I've not yet announced that we are getting married in Walt Disney World this fall! Dreams really DO come true at Walt Disney World.

Fave app Monday

I truly debated about getting WDW LINES from Touring Plans.com. Afterall, the app is free to download, but it costs $10.95 per year for the subscription fee to access the crowd calendars & attraction wait times which is the main purpose of the app! I had heard about this app on the WDW Today podcast & decided to give it a try. I have found it to be very helpful in planning our upcoming trip & plan to try it out in the parks for the wait times at that time. So far, I'd rate it at a 4 (out of 5). I'll let you know afterwards truly how helpful it has been.

What's not to love?

I wanted to give an update on our upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. I'll have further info coming soon, but this trip will be a little bit different. We love to do something different & this one surely is (different, that is)!

I am very excited because I
found out today that I'm in "the second round of screening" for the Disney Wedding Blog mentors! I didn't think I'd be considered when Carly posted the other day that she had something like 200 submissions! I love to write & blog & I love everything about Walt Disney World. It's "our" place where we get away from reality & just enjoy one another's company. Some people don't see it as a place to go unless you have children of a certain age - we are still children at heart! Plus there are so many things to do for adults that we would never get board...

Fave app Monday

Are you a Walt Disney World fan? Do you visit the theme park? If the answer was yes to either, but especially both questions then I have an app that may interest you: WDW hours. This app lists the published WDW park hours which is convenient if you're planning a trip to the WDW theme parks.

Disney countdown continued

Still counting down the days to our next Disney adventure. This one will be special (really they're all special). Each time we go we try to experience at least one new and unique thing. You know, a memory in the making. That's what so enjoyable about Disney to us. The cast members each do their best to make our time their as enjoyable as possible, at the very least just by a greeting or a simple smile.

The food is good, the people are nice (for the most part, except sometimes the other guests) & the entertainment is just plain fun... the rides, shows & productions. We're planning a few good meals at restaurants (Raglan Road - which is one of our favorites, Citricos -it's our 1st time there, Le Cellier - an old favorite, 50's Prime Time - another 1st visit, & Coral Reef - a 2nd romantic visit with the fishies to have seafood).

We have the hotels, air, park tickets & ground transportation all set.

Can't wait...

Finally

I am finally getting to my photos from our vacation to Walt Disney World which was in December. This photo, of Cinderella's Castle prior to the fireworks, turned out particularly well, don't you think? It is certainly a beautiful site.

Otherwise, it's been the same old song and dance for me - keeping busy at work. That is a good thing though. No complaints about being too busy at work! I am taking a couple of hours today to work in my art studio for a change. Of course, I can't find the things I am looking for, which is making me nuts!
Enjoy,
