i broke down and purchased the latest release of tim burton's the nightmare before christmas last week. i wasn't going to buy it, as i already have the previous dvd. however, when i found out that it includes a digital version for my ipod - i ran right out to get it. it has additional video of the holiday haunted mansion also. i am getting so excited about my upcoming visit to walt disney world! i cannot begin to tell you... i only hope the weather is not horrible. it appears to be the season for hurricanes and there is a plethora of them this season.

we went to the rock river thresheree on saturday with marc's mom. she usually wants to stay for a very long time, but this time was ready to leave before we even looked around half of the grounds. it was so dusty! yikes. we love going there every year. they not only have tractors (many, many tractors), but an antique car show, a steam train, and a flea market. i bought a tie rack to alter. i've been working on it the past two days. yesterday i sanded it down and today i'm painting it. i am going to use it to hang my multitude of necklaces that i've made.
