back to it

ah, back to work after a 3 day weekend. it's just not the same as coming back to work after a lengthy vacation. i was productive today - i got the apple time capsule working. i can't take all of the credit. i took it (again) to the apple store. they are not sure why the imac ignored it, but it did. we've had to reboot the internet modem twice tonight, but we did get it going. now it is busy backing up my hard drive. yeah. 

my allergies are just crazy! can't stand it. hopefully winter will put an end to that? i will see. vacation is just 10 days away. guinness was sick again today. tummy problems. enough said ;-) he has such a sensitive stomach. jac is ok so far. they haven't been anywhere so i'm not sure how they would catch anything. they do go to the groomer on friday. 

i am so worried about storms while we are in florida! it seems the hurricanes are just lining up to terrorize me! i hope our vacation is not a complete wash out. i don't mind a little rain. after all - it rained when we were there in december 2005 just about every day. of course, it was cold too. we won't have that problem this time!

i got julie's birthday card in the mail just in time. she e-mailed me today saying she got it and she loved it. it was a stampscapes coastal scape. she loves the water - lives on a lake. it was appropriate. unfortunately, i forgot to take a picture to share. i forget to take photos of the art work when i'm busy creating. i'm finishing up my tie rack turned into a necklace display rack. pics to follow --> i promise.
