tempting

Here's a peak at a few of the items i picked up on sunday on our adventures. lots of little findings to use in my art projects. 

i finally got my car in the shop to get the exhaust replaced. it's my third time taking it into the dealership to get fixed. the first time they had to figure out what was wrong. then they scheduled for me to come back when they had the parts in stock. i came in, and they were missing one of the parts, so today i had to come back to drop off the car to be repaired tomorrow. they gave me a loaner, a new version of the car i already own. oh boy! it's nice. a beautiful dark grey subaru impreza. the stereo is absolutely fabulous. it handles like a dream. it takes off on a dime. makes me want a new car... not right now. maybe soon. i will probably get another car like the one i have (subaru outback sport). the one i have is going to be nine years old this september. i've never owned a car this long before. i always got tired of them before then. i think i had my new honda civic for three years. the mazda 323 i had for two years. hated that car! those are the two other brand new cars i bought. other cars, including my mazda rx7 was (gently) used. i loved my rx7. my son totaled it. he was 13 at the time. long story! another time. that was the same year he set the house on fire (accidently).  not bad though. pretty good, actually. wish i could swing the payments on a new one right now. as we are probably replacing our roof within the next month or so, it is out of the question right now. ;(
