enough storms already

ok. i've had enough of nasty storms the past couple of days. we've got flooding going on in the local areas and when we drove down to northern illinois today, they had the same lovely experience. it is 7:36 p.m. it should be quite sunny outside, but it is as black as night out. another storm bearing down on us. my time capsule is all screwed up. not happy. last night our basement had a little water coming in because the gutters were clogged. marc cleaned them out this morning and they should be all set for the next round of rain coming shortly. i did get some cool items today to use in my art projects. i'll write more about them tomorrow. the rain is starting and i want to get the computer unplugged because i am sure there will be lots of lightening again.

here's a shot of the rain pouring down. it came down so hard that our roof started leaking and the basement got a little water in it (gutters were clogged). we had to go out when the rain let up just a bit to clean out the gutters. not fun.
