snowy saturday

we are getting lake effect snow today. that doesn't happen a whole lot for us, but we are getting just a dusting of the powdery white stuff. hopefully the last of the snow for the season. :) i'm wishful thinking anyway. i'm puttering in the computer room, getting old software cleared out - making way for the new stuff. 

the weekends just fly by. i swear, the older i get, the quicker time goes. in the meantime, the dogs are waiting patiently for me to play with them. mom's on the computer again... so far they are patient, but that is wearing thin. time goes by very quickly for dogs. they sleep most of the day, so the play time they have is very short indeed.

i find it amusing - johnny depp is coming to town to film a movie. they had a casting call downtown yesterday. i just knew it would be mobbed, so i didn't bother to go. it is a gangster movie about john dillinger. i hope the weather is better for johnny when he comes here. that is, unless they are looking for yucky weather. they are supposed to film this movie within the next few weeks. how exciting!
