spring around the corner

i saw my first robins this morning. two of them. they looked quite happy to be here considering it is all of 36 degrees outside. all the birds seem very active. singing pretty. spring is in the air. the snow is melting very slowly. i'm glad because with the two dogs, the backyard can be pretty nasty this time of year. jac hates it so. he doesn't like it wet either.
