the next Johnny Depp movie coming out March 4th. Its called Rango, and it looks absolutely hilarious! BTW, I just love the article in Vanity Fair (Jan. 2011) about Johnny. If you're a JD fan, I strongly recommend it! In it, he is interviewed by Patti Smith, another favorite artist of mine. I got to meet her in 1979 when she was on tour for her album Wave. She is one of those people who is an all round artist. Singer, songwriter, poet, author - you name it, I think she could do it! A true inspiration.

Looking Forward

It is a new month, December. And we are on our way to a near year - a new decade. In honor of December, we have a new Johnny Depp photo: Johnny in his Capt. Jack Sparrow persona. This is also due to my up coming adventure to Walt Disney World. I cannot wait! There is a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie coming next year and Johnny is in the upcoming Tim Burton/Disney movie: Alice in Wonderland. Check out the trailer - It looks fabulous! It is scheduled for release March 5th.

New feature

Inspired by the month of May muse (Johnny Depp) posted by BroknHeart Art ( thanks for the inspiration, Susan) who posts a different muse each month - I decided to start a new feature with photos of Johnny on my blog. If you're a Depp fan - enjoy! If not (you know who you are) please ignore Johnny... :) Just for this month, I'm including a bonus Johnny in this posting! Today's is by F. Scott Schaefer from 6/06. Here's my plug: Johnny has a new movie coming out in June, Public Enemy, which was filmed in and around the Midwest, including the Milwaukee/Madison area. I can't wait to see it!
