end of autumn?

autumn is coming to an end? without a doubt. cold and flu season also is on it's way. marc is home sick with a bad cold. we've both had our flu shots, so hopefully we are ready. i got my package of goodies from kelli perkins today. how wonderful! i haven't even gone through the entire package yet, but there are numerous items in there that i can use. she was cleaning out some excess "stuff" from her studio and offered it up to the readers of her blog. all good dharma, for sure! 

as for me, i did get outdoors to take the rest of the fall photos - bad weather is expected tonight for the next couple of days. very windy - which will for certain blow off the remaining fall colored leaves. i did capture a shot of this little guy, thinking I couldn't see him. lucky for me, the camera i use has 10x zoom. 

i went and bought the newest edition of quilting arts gifts for this holiday season. some of my all time fave artists are featured in it, including kelli perkins, beryl taylor, francis holliday alford and judy coates perez.
