arts and crafts

i am in full swing of making halloween items in hopes of getting into the fall harvest arts and craft show here in wisconsin. it is held in new berlin, not too far from my home. it is a really nice show. i attended as a shopper last year, and as they've moved to a bigger venue, i'm hoping i can get in. of course, i need to make many more items, but that's not a problem... i know what i'm making. jack o'lanterns for one... i know - how cliche'. but, who doesn't love a scary jack o'lantern at halloween time. as this is held two weeks before halloween, i think the timing is perfect. i will have a couple of christmas/holiday items for good measure. plus a couple of non-holiday items for the non participant type shopper. i want a couple of collages there too. i want to see the reaction - hopefully it is positive. i'm into the vintage, turn of the century (sorry - 1900's, not to be confused with 1999-2000) look right about now. a look back on simpler times, most definitely. i will see if i get accepted to this show, this is my first arts and crafts fair. i have set up at flea markets before. i hate the whole weekend thing - this is just one day of selling. that will be easier. i've asked marc to help me come up with ideas for my booth. we will see just how creative he is. 

as for the pic of the pumpkin above, this is how the pumpkins are growing in my garden. not bad...
