Like a Deer in the headlights

Living where I do in the Midwest, seeing a deer is not uncommon. However, I do not like these guys in my garden munching on my trees and plants. They don't care if you go out and chase after them either. They will stand their ground! Luckily for me, this deer (and it's companion) did leave my yard for the sanctuary of my neighbor's yard - and then just gave me the "WHAT?" over the shoulder look!

Happy Bunny Tuesday!

I hope you are having a Happy Bunny Tuesday! Yes, bunnies are still around. They are confused as Marc cleaned all of the vegetation off of the patio this past weekend with the weedwacker. "Where is our food?" So many bunnies... I guess that means our coyote population is down right now - yes, we have coyotes in the area! This was most unsettling for me when I first moved here, especially because of my little doggies! Now I just make sure to keep an eye on them at all times. The bunnies are cute, even if they do eat my flowers and veggies in the garden remember Peter Rabbit? :)

Frequent Guest

We have this little guy, and actually his whole liter of brothers and sisters, who has been dining on our over grown patio. We will need to clear the patio of the weeds growing between the cracks, but in the meantime, this guy thinks it's a good place to come for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
