Life is a zoo

I love going to the zoo. This is why I have a zoopass - so I can go anytime. I love to see the big cats, and the last time we stopped by to see the kitties, it was mid-day. If you have a cat at home, then you know what that means: nap-time! It was no exception for the leopard


And for the cheetah (who was not pleased that everyone was using flash when taking a picture of him napping). Nice kitty!

Fun day

Today was such a beautiful day. We went to the "Feast with the Beasts" at the Milwaukee County Zoo. I got to see my favorites, the flamingos. They are always so elegant looking, although they appeared to be arguing with one another for some reason.






I also like to go see the polar bear & seals. The polar bear was pacing back & forth.






We sampled a few goodies along our way around the zoo. I had a lobster BLT & Marc had a quesadilla & they were both yummy. Plus we had to have a cheesecake (chocolate & raspberry) which was delicious! Marc had a southwest chicken eggroll that he said was good, but he didn't care for the dipping sauce that came with it. The zoo was packed so we only stayed a couple of hours. We are Zoopass members so we can go anytime.
They had a new attraction - a zipline you could ride, but with my fear of heights (I can't even stand to ride Soarin') the zipline is out of the question!
