i thought i'd show you the lovely antique remington portable typewriter i got this weekend. it is from the early 1920's. like i said in my earlier post, my grandfather worked at the remington typewriter factory in illion, new york back around this time. he was a machinist, and made parts for typewriters. he also worked in the remington arms factory there, test firing rifles during world war 1.
