briefly about my wonderful weekend: my workshop with beryl taylor could not have been better. first of all, if you ever get the chance to go to the valley ridge art studios in muscoda, wisconsin, by all means: DO IT! it is a great place and kathy malkasian, the owner, is so much fun. she makes sure everything runs smoothly. the food is excellent also. very healthy. the view on their gorgeous hilltop looking down on the valleys below cannot be beat. and beryl was so gracious. she shared so many of her precious tips on creation and embellishment always ready to offer a guiding hand when any one had a question. fun was had by all. i will post photos at another time as you can imagine i am having a hideous day today. i must go into work as it is month end and my busiest day of the month. i have been inspired by beryl's use of stamps and in such, just e-mailed an order for some stampin' up stamps from my demonstrator this morning! i'm sure it won't be my last acquisition this week as i have so many ideas running through my head i cannot turn them off. that's one of the reasons i was up all night - that and my heart was beating like i was in a race from the meds i'm on. to sleep or breathe? that's a tough choice. more later.

not much time today
i don't have much time to write this morning. it is a day from hell after a absolutely wonderful weekend. good news is that i'm beginning to feel much better. bad news is that my asthma meds keep me up all night. I MEAN UP ALL NIGHT. i did not sleep at all last night. when i picked up the dogs from the dog sitter, guinness smelled like diarrhea. sitter said another dog she was watching had gone in his cage and she had cleaned it. he was so bad that i had to give him a bath the minute we walked in the door at 8:30 last night. this morning both he and jac are sick.
