stormy friday

it has been raining most of the day, and storming periodically. It is raining cats and dogs right now. thunder, lightening. there is a tornado watch also, so hopefully that will not come to fruition. 

i am so glad the weekend is finally here. i got a lot done at work this week. now its time to concentrate on my art with blocks of time, not just moments stolen here and there. i got my new issue of digital scrapbooking and its a good one. they send the digital version first, then mail out the paper copy. this feels kind of weird, but i like it. especially on my 24" monitor. with my old 12" one, it would have not been so much fun. 

now it is thundering a lot. marc drove over to pick up the pizza for dinner. its just about 4 miles each way. we are sure getting a lot of rain today. i'm glad i live on top of a hill, not at the bottom. they have a flood watch out.
