rain, no snow

today was a productive day, even though i didn't feel well for most of it. cold medicine is keeping me going through laundry, grocery shopping, dinner preparation, house cleaning and YES i did get a couple hours of studio time. painting today. i love painting. it can be some what of a pain, because i do not have any running water downstairs where the studio is located. So, i must run up and down stairs a few times. good exercise! it has rained most of the day. we got freezing rain too. i'm so glad i fed the birds yesterday. i didn't see many today, though. i did see a few drenched squirrels around the feeder. i feel for them too. they looked just miserable. i hope i feel better tomorrow and maybe the weather will be more hospitable as well. i could use some sun. this weather gets me in a funk. no one needs that. i have lots of ideas for projects rolling around in my mind. time to flesh them out in my idea sketchbook. i am working on my close up photography. i need better lighting. i did the best i could (for now) to get a couple photos of my creations out there for you to see. gotta run. dogs are waiting for their time.
